The Psychology Department currently has research space that is equipped with PC support and digital video editing available. The furniture in the laboratory rooms can easily be refigured to accommodate experiments.
Student Research Opportunities
Research experience is a highly desirable component of a student's education. This is especially true for those students considering a graduate education. Opportunities for research for both undergraduate and graduate psychology students are plentiful at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. To get involved, students should talk to any Psychology faculty member. For undergraduate students, it is preferred that students complete PSYC 3411 (Experimental Psychology) before considering research involvement. In addition, the department offers a research colloquium series where faculty and students formally present their research as well as discuss topics related to research and graduate school admissions to help students build their skills and increase their chances of being accepted to graduate programs.
