Interdisciplinary Minors

The Department of Humanities offers interdisciplinary minors in Mexican American Studies and Religious Studies.  In these programs, students take classes in a variety of disciplines to get a multi-faceted understanding of a single field of study.  Our Mexican American Studies minor offers courses in history, folklore, literature, Spanish, political science, sociology, and communication.  Religious Studies students combine courses in psychology, sociology, history, English, art history, and philosophy into a single minor.  If you like learning about religion or Mexican American history and culture, and if you value studying subjects from multiple perspectives and broadening your intellectual horizons, these minors are for you.
