Advising

English majors are advised through the College of Liberal Arts Academic Advisors. New students who have declared an English major are directed to an Academic Advisor, who meets with them to draw up a temporary degree plan and who advises them on course selection. The Advisor completes a permanent degree plan, sends students a letter telling them that it is ready, and then meets with students once again to make sure they understand the program of study.

Academic Advisor for the Departments of English and Humanities:

Ms. Natasha Crawford
Office: Driftwood 203C., 825-3466
Email: natasha.crawford@mail.tamucc.edu

For more information, check the Academic Advising Center
web site

The Academic Advisor also assigns each student an advisor from the English faculty. Faculty have a strong commitment to undergraduate education and care about students' academic success. A dedicated faculty member with expertise in your career track will advise and mentor you throughout your undergraduate career.
